Las primeras publicaciones de Christine Ladd son soluciones a problemas matemáticos en revistas de carácter educativo. Entre 1873 y 1883 publica en The Analyst, The Educational Times y The Mathematical Visitor. Hasta el momento hemos identificado estas publicaciones suyas a lo largo de su vida. Como es conocido, Christine Ladd se casó en 1882 con el matemático Fabian Franklin. A partir de entonces, añade el apellido de su marido al suyo, normalmente con un guion entre ambos. En esta relación se conserva el nombre de la autora tal como aparece en cada artículo.
