Yours of the 22nd & ulterior reached me on the steamer & press of other matters has prevented my answering it. On p. 83 of my memoir it is stated that Zöllner's measures are expressed in my table in "the preliminary scale of magnitudes already reforced to". On the bottom of p. 56 this scale is defined.
