Strassburg-Wüzburg
Left Strassbourg 10 ½ AM. Ar. Wüzburg 9 PM. Long journey. Not very tiresome. Expected to go on to Nürmberg at one stretch but found it more convenient to put up at the Russischer Hof in Wüzburg. Beautiful station in Würzburg.

Wüzburg-Nürmberg Left Wüzburg 4 AM. Ar. Nürmberg 8 AM. Having been called at 3 we caught the train. C[harles] slept well Z[ina] wretchedly. Got to Nürmberg tired out. Hotel had good room & wretched breakfast, says Z[ina] who tried for tea. Good says C[harles] Z[ina] half sick but dressed & went to St. Sebaldus & picture galery. Consequently made sick. C[harles] saw also Lorenzo Kirche, Frauen Kirche & streets etc. Nürmberg wonderful place. |
