The Collections are curated by the Departments of Zoology and Ecology (animals), Botany (plants) and Chemistry and Soil Science (minerals).
The Zoological Section is part of the Museum of Zoology, which curates the research collections of the Department. The scientific data generated by the Museum are regularly published in the scientific literature. The Museum's databases are available through the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
