(Cambridge, MA, 23.06.1875)

Cambridge, June 23, 1875

Dear Sir,

Will you kindly inform me how a letter to Mr. C. S. Peirce should be addressed at present? We need some information from him with regard to the observations of double stars and the photometric work.

The photometric work has not thus far been found at the Observatory, although ir may be here. If you know, by any accident, where or with whom it was deposited, you would confer a favor upon the Observatory by sending me word where to find it.

Yours respectfully

Arthur Searle
Assistant in charge

Prof. B. Peirce.
