Recientemente ha salido el último ejemplar de la revista European Journal of Pragmatism and American Philosophy (volumen 3, nº 2, 2011) con el título genérico "Pragmatism and the Social Sciences: A Century of Influences and Interactions" y cuyos editores son Roberto Frega (IEA París) y Filipe Carreira da Silva (Universidad de Lisboa). 2. NOTICIAS DESDE ITALIA
Recientemente se ha defendido en la Università degli Studi di Palermo (Italia) una interesante tesis sobre Charles S. Peirce titulada Valenze ontologiche dell'icona nella teoria del segno di C. S. Peirce escrita por Anna Maria Tartaglia, bajo la dirección de los profs. G. Nicolaci y R. Fabbrichesi.
Como escribe su autora en la Introducción: "Este trabajo centra su atención en un aspecto específico de la semiótica de Peirce. En efecto, se pregunta por el papel del componente icónico en la teoría general del signo, articulado en torno a la tríada de icono-índice-símbolo".
Desde aquí queremos felicitar a la Dra. Anna Maria Tartaglia que nos ha enviado un ejemplar para el archivo del Grupo
