Abstract /

This paper focuses on the information selection process from the standpoint of contextual influence. Dimmick´s theory of selection lacks a fifth proposition that underlines the direct influence of the audience on composition models and its indirect influence on media professionals. The paper gathers the analytical and graphic documentation of the Basque-Navarre media dealing with a specific event.arketing and Information: On the first part of this paper, the author defines the following concepts: media enterprise, informing as a service, between the information product and marketing relationship and information, and informative marketing. The author analyses the interactions informative marketing, and those between informative quality and quality marketing. Mention is made of the concepts and types of information con sumers, and the business of investigation.
