International Symposium on Theology
Since 1979, the School has held the annual International Symposium on Theology. This symposium brings together specialists from all over the world ─theologians, philosophers, jurists, doctors, educators, etc.─ to discuss a single theme of contemporary interest.
The participants come from various European and American universities, from Roman academic societies, etc. In addition, the Symposia feature the participation of members of the Hierarchy, of the Holy See, and major figures in the life of the Church.
The acta of past Symposia may be consulted at the webpage of the publications of the School of Theology.
Professorial Seminars
During the period of classes, the School holds professorial seminars, either weekly or bimonthly, at which a Professor of the School or of another university or center will present the results of his or her research.
Other study meetings
Besides the meetings mentioned above, which are held on a regular basis, the School also holds other meetings from time to time, which are dedicated to the study of a single topic, either a question of current interest, a recent event in the Church, or an author of special relevance.
In addition, the Ciencia, Razón y Fe research group has been organized at the University of Navarra with the purpose of promoting interdisciplinary study of questions in which the domains of science, philosophy and theology overlap.
