Responsibilities

What does hosting a graduate entail?

Under the Leonardo da Vinci Programme the hosting partner agrees to offer a young graduate six months of  professional training in a supervised environment . See quality agreement.
 

  • The host enterprise decides on the dates and number of candidates to be accepted, as well as the final selection of candidate/s.
  • The host enterprise will decide on the department and workplan intented for the candidate. See WORKPLAN.
  • The hosting enterprise designates a tutor who will be in contact with the University of Navarra Foundation, and who will supervise the training. A training agreement is signed between the host enterprise, the candidate and the University of Navarra Business Foundation. See Training Agreement.
  • The hosting enterprise will make sure the candidate has all the necessary equipment to carry out the tasks expected.
  • The hosting enterprise agrees to certify the the work placement with a EU recognised EUROPASS CERTIFICATE.
  • The hosting company agrees to  evaluate the placement and the cantidate at the end of the six months. See EVALUATION REPORT.
  • The host enterprise is under no obligation to pay the candidates, any remuneration offered is payed directly to the candidates and is considered a valuable contribution to their experience.
  • The host organisation is under no obligation to organise accomodation or transport, however any contribution or help is highly valued.


The sending organisation:

The University of Navarra Business Foundation acts as the sending organisation. Responsabilities include:

  •  Initial selection process of candidates to be sent to enterprises for final choice.
  • Evaluating workplans and quality of the training to be carried out
  • Preparing documents and  agreements for all parties 
  • Covering the selected candidate with an insurance for accident and civil liability
  • Supervising the work-placement conditions throughout the duration of the work-placement.
  • Payments to the candidates: 80% of the grant when the training agreements are signed and 20% at the end of the placement on reception of the evaluation report and Europass Certificate.
  • Organising the Exellence Award for the best Work placement at the end of every project (annual).
