Academic Certifications

The students of the University of Navarra (both current and former students) may request academic certifications of their registration or of the content of their academic transcript. The Registrar's Office of the University provides these certificates for those students of the officially-recognized degree programs taught at the Pamplona campus (diplomaturas, licentiates, architecture and technical architecture, doctorate), and those degrees proper to the University (diplomas, master's programs, and other university degrees). For ecclesiastical students, the administrative offices of these Schools is responsible for providing academic certifications. And for other programs of study (special courses and programs, congresses and conferences, etc.), the School or Center which organizes the program will provide those certifications.

Content of the Certifications

  • Certificate with grades: includes the academic results which are contained in the student's academic transcript. Also includes, if applicable, the date of completion of studies, and the date on which the degree was conferred. If desired, the certification may also include the average grade (calculated according to Royal Decree 1044/2003, of August 1).
This certification can only include those classes whose results have been registered with the Registrar; that is, class records signed by the Professor and which have been submitted to the Registrar's Office.
  • Certificate of Registration: provides proof of the student's registration status during a given academic year; includes the number of credits for which the student has registered.
  • Certificate of Finalization of Studies: indicates the date upon which the student finalized his or her studies, and, if applicable, the date upon which the degree was conferred.
  • Certificate required for applying for the MIR, FIR or BIR: the certificate will be provided according to the application guidelines for these examinations.
