In order to enter an official Master's program, it is necessary to be in possession of an official Spanish undergraduate degree (Licentiate or Bachelor's degree), or else a degree awarded by an educational institution of the European Higher Education Area which gives access to Master's studies in the awarding country.

In addition, degree holders from educational systems outside of the European Higher Education Area are eligible with no need for them to officially validate their degrees, provided that they demonstrate a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish undergraduate degree, which grant access to postgraduate studies.

The recommended access profile is that of graduates in Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Oenology, Environmental Sciences) or in Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Sciences, Nursing, Human Nutrition and Dietetics) or other equivalent degree.

Given the characteristics of the Master's program it is necessary that applicants have advanced oral comprehension and writing skills in English.
