BILINGUAL LICENTIATE IN HUMANITIES
As a result of the growing globalization of the world, the new European market has an ever greater demand for qualified experts who add to their profile of a degree in the Humanities a solid professional competence in the English language.
The School of Philosophy and Social Sciences wishes to respond to this demand and offer the possibility to obtain a Bilingual degree in Humanities/International Degree in Humanities
(IDH), by means of a plan of study whose specifics include:
* Alternate fundamental courses, optional and of free election, in Spanish and English (minimum 65 credits).
* Planning an academic semester in the second year of study at an English speaking university which has written agreements of collaboration with the University of Navarra.
Also, with an adequate plan, the International
Degree in Humanities (IDH), will be compatible with the degree requirements of Commercial Management and Cultural Management, and equivalent to North American Degrees.
The humanist merge that forms the base of the studies and the decidedly practical orientation innate in the Humanities degree, as a consequence of professional requirements, will be strengthened by pioneer international training in our country.
In order to enroll themselves in this option, the students need to have passed the the third year of the Official School of Languages, have obtained 220 points on the TOEFL exam, or received the First Certificate in English. Whatever the case, the skill level in English language will be evaluated by the Department at the the end of the first year.
