| CHARACTERISTICS |
This diploma offers the student a deeper knowledge of the English language and Anglo-American culture. The program specializes in the use of the English language and knowledge of the diverse manifestations of the culture of Great Britain, the United States, and countries wherein English is the common language of use. Proficiency in the English language, and a solid knowledge of history, literature, art, and the sociopolitical situation of the Anglo-American environment, is highly valued in the labor market.
The Degree is directed towards students from any center of the University of Navarra who wish to orient their credits of free configuration (optional credits) towards course work for this degree; the same for any person aligned with the necessary conditions for admission to the University of Navarra.
Students who are not Licentiate candidates in Humanities and Social Sciences need to apply for admission to Modern Languages, and be interviewed.

| MINIMUM CREDITS |
60 credits are required to obtain the degree. 50 of the credits correspond to the required classes of the core. The rest of the credits can be applied towards optional classes and other classes from the English degree program.

English Degree: up to 9 credits for the following degrees: Cambridge Proficiency in English, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge First Certificate, Degree from the Official School of Languages, TOEFL. |
Research work is conducted under the direction of a professor. Before completing the work, the student must obtain approval for the thesis and the director supervising the work.
To facilitate the completion of the work, the Department of Modern Languages will organize sessions to be announced in advance, on introduction to research.
