INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES IN ENGLISH

Description:   Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of the English language, and its application within academic and professional spheres.
Intended for:   Students from all licentiate programs offered by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (except for the Bilingual Licentiate in Humanities) may take this specialization program, thereby obtaining a "mención," which will appear on your official academic transcript. To obtain the mención, you will use your in-program and open elective credits.
Number of credits:   At least 30 elective credits

The courses which form part of the curriculum for the Mención, and which the student has already taken as a core or required course in his or her licentiate program, will be added to the student's academic transcript as open or in-program electives within the section of the transcript corresponding to the Mención
