DESCRIPTION
The diploma aims to provide the student with a deeper knowledge of the English language and of British and American culture. It proposes to advance University studies through specialization in diverse uses of English and in the study of the development of culture in Britain, the United States and other English-speaking countries. Fluency in the English language and an understanding of the history, literature, art and the socio-political situation of the English-speaking world are highly valued in today's job market.
Applicants: Students of any faculty of the University of Navarra who wish to select their "Libre Configuración" credits (or, as the case may be, the "Optativo" credits) to obtain this diploma. Those elegible for admission to the University of Navarra.
Students from degrees other than Philology and Humanities must apply at the Modern Languages Department, where an interview will be scheduled.


MINIMUM CREDITS
To obtain the diploma, the student must pass a total of 60 credits. There are 50 compulsory credits to be taken from the obligatory subjects of the diploma. The remaining credits may be taken from the list of optional subjects and English certificates.

English certificates: Up to 9 credits: Cambridge Proficiency in English, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge First Certificate, Título Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, TOEFL

The research project must be written under the supervision of a professor. Before embarking on the project, the student must have the topic and supervisor approved by the director of the diploma.
In order to facilitate the completion of the project, the Modern Languages Department will organize a series of sessions to introduce students into research methods.
