Comunicación
y Sociedad
(Communication and Society)
Published once a semester, this academic journal
was founded in 1988 and is edited by staff in the
School of Communication at the University of Navarra.
The journal is intended to be a forum for debate
and reflection for academic professors and researchers
and media professionals throughout the world. It
is made available to university teachers, people
who work in the communication field, research centers
and libraries in Spain, Europe and America.
Research articles and studies on key issues related
to journalism, public opinion, corporate communication,
advertising, cinema and multimedia communication
appear in its pages. |
Perspectivas
del Mundo de la Comunicación
(Perspectives on the World of Communication)
Perspectives is
published by the School of Communication at the University
of Navarra, and is intended to be read –in
the first instance– by former students of
the School’s three degree programs.
Every two
months, this publication is sent to approximately
6,000 people who work in different sectors of
the communication field.
Three articles written by members of the School’s
teaching staff are published in each issue of “Perspective”,
along with a set of graphs or tables of figures which
contain up-to-date information on the topics under
discussion.
This work is the result of the research
of individual staff members, department work-groups,
or the seminars, congresses and conferences in
which university teaching staff and research assistants
take part.
“Perspectives” is a useful tool for
people working in the communication field: up-to-date
research and information, presented in a way that
is easy to assimilate and to use. Many media outlets
have access to this publication through their employees – former
students of the School – and “Perspectives” is
often cited as a source of information.
Given that all of the members of the School’s
teaching staff contribute to the journal, a wide
variety of topics is addressed in the published articles:
political analysis, new technologies, the film industry,
digital radio, the politics of programming, the recession
in the advertising market, etc.
“Perspectives” provides wide-ranging, high
quality and ongoing professional training and education,
and is of value to creative consultants, analysts,
media planners, managers, producers, journalists, film-makers – that
is, to all those who work in the field of communication. |
