International Media Program

Journalism / Advertising and Public Relations / Film, TV & Radio

One academic year in universities in Europe, North America or Asia
Internships in international media
Bilingual classes

The International Media Program (IMP), the first qualification of its kind in Spain, is awarded by the School of Communication at the University of Navarra; its purpose is to provide graduates with an international profile in the communications sector.

The demand for professionals trained to deal with international and multicultural audiences has risen dramatically in response to the globalization of information and markets and the significant increase in the number of multinational communications companies in the field.

The IMP offers in-depth knowledge of the latest trends in the information, entertainment and advertising industries by focusing on areas such as:

  • International education: one full year of study (the third year of the program) at leading universities in the United States, the European Union and Asia is a course requirement that refines the curriculum through the development of cutting-edge courses not yet encompassed by standard course outlines in Spain; at the same time, students on the IMP take classes at the School of Communication with renowned professors and industry experts from both the national and international scene;
  • Bilingual program: the IMP is taught through English and Spanish, giving graduates all the professional advantages of a bilingual degree program;
  • Professional experience: a three-month work experience project in an international print or audiovisual media organization, advertising or communications company is part of the IMP program, and provides students with valuable insights into business practices abroad.
