Agustín González Enciso
Agustín González Enciso (Valladolid, Spain, 1950) is currently a professor of Economic History at the University of Navarra. He has also taught at the universities of Valladolid, Autonoma de Madrid and Murcia; he too was a Research Fellow at Harvard and Yale, and a visiting professor at the Universidad Católica Argentina.
He specializes in the Spanish economy of the modern age, particularly
questions of industrial history, commercial and
financial of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, subjects on which he has published several books and numerous articles in professional journals.
He currently heads the GRHIFI (Grupo de Historia Financiera) from theUniversity of Navarra. He is now also the Deputy Director of the Enterprise and Humanism Institute of the University of Navarra.
