The School of Sciences has an exchange program for students and professors of Biology, Biochemistry and Chemistry with numerous European universities as part of the Erasmus program of the European Union.
Hands on Education
Nearly 50% of the credits included the degrees offered correspond to projects carried out by students in laboratories, seminars or internships. In this way, an interest in life, the ability to observe, analyze, synthesis and work in a team are promoted.
Internships
The School of Sciences, in collaboration with the University of Navarra Business Foundation, maintains a close relationship with the professional world. Starting in their first year at the University, students have the option of performing internships for school credit. There are collaboration agreements with numerous companies in different areas of the professional world, such as: the food sector, environmental management, clinical analysis laboratories, wine, microbiological and genetic forestry, wastewater treatment and industrial waste, pest management, fisheries, maritime museums, natural parks, dairy, meat, and preserved food companies, chemical laboratories, hospitals, restoration companies, etc…
Academic Advising
Professors dedicate a set time every week to academically advising and orienting those students who are interested. A professor/student ratio of 1 to 6 makes this personalized attention possible.
