Eight graduates of the University of Navarra received the National End of Studies Award
Six of them received the first place award in Nursing, Nutrition, Industrial Management Engineering, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.

Eight graduates of the University of Navarra received the National End of Studies Award for the academic year 2006-2007. The prizes, awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science, are meant to distinguish those students who finished their university studies with exceptional success.
In all, six students from the University of Navarra received first prizes, two won third prizes, and nine were given special mentions. As there are 9,484 students in the university, approximately 1.79 out of every 1,000 students wins an award.
The first prizes were given to Ana Fernández García of Mardones (Nursery); Laura Pérezabad García (Human Nutrition and Dietetics); and Irene Olaizola Casin (Engineering in Industrial Management).
Furthermore, the other three first prizes were given to graduates of the three degrees of the School of Communication: Maite Mutuberría Larráyoz (Audiovisual Communication); Leire Iglesias Velasco (Journalism); and Mónica Recalde Viana (Advertising and Public Relations).
Additionally, Jaime Ignacio Iranzo Sanz received a third place award in Biology; and Óscar Lacruz Coloma also received a third place prize in Technical Architecture.
9 honorable mentions
Another nine graduates of the University of Navarra were awarded honorable mentions: Alfredo Guillén del Castillo (Medicine) and Iñigo Martincorena Arróniz (Biochemistry); Saioa Aldaya Fernández (Audiovisual Communication); David Puente García (Telecommunications Engineering); Ane Alberdi Muniain (Industrial Engineering); Aitor Berasarte López (Industrial Engineering); Sergio Herrero López (Telecommunications Engineering); Zaida Espinosa Zárate (Philosophy); and Tamara Palacios Bretón (Pharmacy).
