IESE Business School of the University of Navarra offers a new programme for top management executives in India

IESE Business School of the University of Navarra.

IESE Business School of the University of Navarra will offer a programme for top management executives in India beginning in February 2006. The course, entitled 'Inside India', is organized in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB) and will be given at Hyderabad on the campus of the ISB. The programme will consist basically in sessions with professors and professionals with first-hand experience in the world of business in their country.

Participants in this programme will have the opportunity to learn how to do business and to visit companies and institutions in diverse sectors. Rama Velamuri and Pedro Videla, both professors of the International Graduate School of Management, will be teaching the course.

One of the principle reasons behind this initiative is the rapid increase of this country's IBP, with an increase of 8.4% in 2004. Moreover, India is the second largest country with a population of over a billion inhabitants, and has one of the largest populations of English speakers on Earth.

IESE of the University of Navarra is the only business school in the world which offers training for management in four continents through distinct programmes of its own already in operation in Europe (Barcelona, Madrid, Munich), in Asia, (China, in conjunction with CEIBS Shangai) in America (Brasil) and Africa (Egypt). The Financial Times recognized this fact stating that IESE is the first European school and seventh in the world in programmes for executives. Such results are in themselves a recognition of the training, the teaching staff and the international expansion of IESE which, for the third consecutive year, is the first school of Europe in this category.
