The Grand Chancellor is the highest authority of the University, and exercises all the functions necessary to ensure its proper governance.
The Vice Chancellor presides over the University organization in the absence of the Grand Chancellor, and exercises the functions which the latter delegates for a given situation.
The Governing Board of the University is made up of the President, the Vice Presidents, the Deans or Directors of the University Schools and Centers, the General Administrator, the Bursar, two student representatives and the General Secretary, who serves as the Secretary of the Board.
The Permanent Commission of the Governing Board, also called the "Office of the President", is the organ of day-to-day governance of the University. It is made up of the President, the Vice Presidents, the General Administrator, the Bursar and the General Secretary.
