What does it really mean to be a member of the Alumni Association? Forming part of the Alumni does not primarily mean belonging to a discount club (…although discounts do exist and we increasingly try to reach more agreements with companies in order to provide discounts to Alumni Members). Neither does it mean belonging to a company that organizes “get-togethers” (although the Association does organize dinner talks, “calçotadas” (which features “calçots” - young onions - as the main dish), open air barbecues, “espichas”(informal buffet-style parties with lots of cider), and many other fun gastronomical activities. Neither does being an alumnus mean being subscribed to an alumni magazine (…although Nuestro Tiempo does keep us informed about the University and other alumni members). Belonging to the Alumni Association is much more than any of this:
… I can do all this by being part of the Alumni Association?
… Yes, you can achieve all of this by forming part of the Alumni Association, by being an Alumnus, by promoting an “alumni culture”.
You have taken the most important step; now all you have to do is to formally become a member.
You have three membership options: Graduation, Basic and Magna. Choose yours.

How your membership fees are used
The Alumni Association is not constituted as an independent financial entity, and so it constitutes a direct bridge between its Members and the University of Navarra. The members of IESE automatically belong to the Alumni Association. Alumni who wish to make donations do so through this latter association.
The membership fees serve to finance the publication and mailing costs of the letters, magazines, etc. that are sent to the members, and also to finance part of the activity of the Alumni Association. The rest of the costs are covered by the generous donations made by sponsoring companies and institutions
The Alumni membership fees are deducible from your IRPF tax and from the Tax on Corporations, in accordance with prevailing Spanish legislation.
