METHODOLOGY

The student is expected to:

• Attend all lectures.
• Read the assigned chapters in the book, as well as any other related material.
• Work out the problem sets that will be distributed throughout the course.
• Take the midterm and final exams, as well as the quizzes.

The estimated time distribution is:

• Lectures: 60 hours.
• Reading and personal study: 40 hours.
• Homeworks: 20
• Exams: 4 hours.
