COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS

FACULTY

Globalization has brought together business and law as complementary activities. Therefore, it is essential for international lawyers to be knowledgeable in different areas of the business landscape. In order to provide students at the University of Navarra School of Law with a stimulating learning environment and global perspective of law and business, the School of Law, with the special advice of the IESE Business School, offers the International Business Law Program (IBLP).

The IBLP is a specialized legal studies program which is composed of a comprehensive review of commercial and financial legal theory as well as lectures covering selected business law topics. This program is the perfect supplement for students who wish to practice law for international corporations and International law firms.

The IBLP will take place during the regular academic year of the University of Navarra School of Law (September–May). The IBLP is compatible with the Anglo-American Law Program (AALP) and the Global Law Studies. Students in this program will be also elegible to spend a semester abroad at well known universities in the USA.

This Program will be taught completely in English. Therefore students will need to justify their language knowledge by passing an exam. It is recommended that students interested in this program have an English level equivalent to the Cambridge Advanced test or a score of 92 in the TOEFL exam.
