The department promotes the results obtained from the research of the University. This process of exploitation can follow diverse paths, depending on the type of research, its characteristics, its state of maturity, its application, etc.
The commercialization of research results is non-linear, and the services of commercialization and promotion form part of a process of transfer which also includes the phase of protection of the results and the formalization of agreements via contracts, among others. Therefore, the work is undertaken in close collaboration of other departments of the ICT, such as Collaboration with Businesses, Industrial Property and Spin Offs.
