Description

Patent licensing consists in  the transferring  of the rights of use or economic exploitation to the institution in question of intellectual or industrial property resulting from research conducted at the University of Navarra.

Characteristics:

These licenses provide an already developed solution to a technological need.  The conditions of exclusivity, geographic area, royalties and the duration of the license are stipulated in the contract. 

Procedure:

For these projects, companies should contact the ICT, and present their request.

The ICT then sends the company a draft of the contract in which the conditions of the license are stated.

After the parties have reached an agreement on the conditions stipluated in the contract, it is then signed.
