Analysis of the moral act. A proposal
Decision refers to the action which the person is undertaking (40). This action is described in words: driving a car, hunting, etc. This description coincides with the description of the will that executes the action: it is impossible to give a purely physical description of human action maintaining a minimum of coherence (41); put in other terms, the decision of the will sets the quidof the action to be realized and it executes it (42). Thus the moral object is with respect to the decision the same as the end with respect to the intention: something that is dealt with (43). And the only manner of describing a person's decision consists in mentioning the "something" of the action, that is, its moral object.
