Resolución de la Asociación Médica Mundial sobre la participación del médico en la pena de muerte

Adoptada por la 34ª Asamblea Médica Mundial, Lisboa, Portugal, septiembre 1981

Y enmendada por la 52ª Asamblea General de la AMM, Edimburgo, Escocia, octubre 2000

Se resuelve que es contrario a la ética que médicos participen en la pena de muerte, de cualquier manera o durante cualquier etapa del proceso de ejecución.

Resolved,

that it is unethical for physicians to participate in capital punishment, in any way, or during any step of the execution process.
