Professor Lawrence A. Cunningham, of Boston College, delivers the first course of the International Business Law Program (IBLP) at the Garrigues Chair

Prof. Lawrence A. Cunningham, Academic Dean, Libby Scholar and Professor of Law & Business at Boston College Law School, is currently delivering the course of “Introduction to Accounting and Finance for Lawyers” at the University of Navarra School of Law.

Prof. Cunningham has published more than thirty scholarly articles and ten books, and he is the author of one of the handbooks on accounting for lawyers most widely used in US universities: “Introductory Accounting, Finance and Auditing for Lawyers”.

The Board of the Garrigues Chair in Global Law is very pleased to count on such an excellent teacher for its International Business Law Program. Prof. Cunningham declares that “it is a privilege for me to be part of this innovative program involving such wonderful people”. In his opinion, “the IBLP is a pioneer in developing and transmitting knowledge of legal and market systems that transcend national boundaries and traditional notions of sovereignty”.

Forty students from five different countries are the first to experience this new academic itinerary. The IBLP is delivered solely in English by lecturers from the most prestigious institutions of higher education. It complements the legal training of those law students who look forward to working for the best enterprises, international law firms and institutions.
