Acquisitions and Donations

The development of the University of Navarra Library collection depends mainly on teachers and researchers, who decide which titles within their area of interest, should be acquired charged into their budgets.

The procedure is different for books and periodicals. In the case of books, there are one or two people in each faculty in charge of checking and approving the applications made and of forwarding them to the Acquisitions Department. For periodicals, the request requires the signature of the centre’s Dean or Director.

Students can suggest the purchase of new titles, or more copies of existing ones, either by contacting the library staff in their faculties or by sending an email to biblioteca@unav.es. The suggestion will then be considered by the Library.

The University of Navarra welcomes and is grateful for legacies and donations of books and periodicals, which from the beginning have contributed to the bibliographical enrichment and development of the library heritage.
