Electromagnetic Compatibility is a free election subject for the 5th course of Telecom Engineering that is lectured during the first semester.

This is a 4,5 credits subject (3 hours per week).

The objective of Electromagnetic Compatibility is to provide the student with the practical knowledge on these topics:

• General concepts of Electromagnetic Compatibility.
• Most relevant phenomena that take place in electronic devices when powered
• Design rules to mitigate and keep under control electromagnetic phenomena in electronic devices
• European and international most relevant standards regarding EMC
