Course Aims

1. provide you with a sound of chronological and art-historical perspective in the fine and decorative arts from the Middle Ages to the present day.
2. develop your eye by anaysing paintings, sculpture and decorative arts by using a range of criteria and analytical tools.
3. develop your understanding of materials and techniques used to fashion fine and decorative arts objects.
